I just took a test to establish the degree to which my biorhythms are in step with those of one Friedrich Nietzsche. Physically, it would appear, we are two hearts beating as one. Emotionally, we’ve got some work to do.

On 4 February 1917, a day after the US broke off diplomatic relations with Germany, the New York Times published an interview, entitled “Democracy Doomed” (PDF file), with Oscar Levy, one of the foremost Nietzsche scholars of the English-speaking world, in which he claimed the ‘future belongs to Nietzsche’.
